TUFTS UNIVERSITY

Tufts University takes #GivingTuesday seriously. While they are educating scientists, activists, innovators and more, they also value their community and the importance of leaders doing good. Tufts asks for monetary donations, but also engaged students by giving them the tools they need to spread the message. They created a Volunteer Toolkit that gave the students a sense of ownership and pride over the campaign.

MCKENDREE UNIVERSITY

McKendree University exceed their #GivingTuesday goal by offering challenges and mini-goals to keep people motivated. There were competitions for first time givers, and a goal for overall number of people donated. They also held sprints to see how much they could raise within a certain time period. By keeping it engaging and bringing out the competitive spirit in donors, they achieved even more than they set out to.

UW-WHITEWATER

2020 was certainly a unique year, and the Warhawks of Whitewater responded with a unique #GivingTuesday campaign. In addition to other campaigns, they also hosted a "QuaranTeam Fund." The donations went to the students who were in a COVID-19-related quarantine and separated from their friends and family during the holiday season.

NIAGARA UNIVERSITY

Niagara University empowers their donors to give from their hearts and to the part of the college that they want to support. The engaging landing page lists many facets of the university, ranging from academics to athletics to campus life. By clicking into each individual one, donors can learn about the program, see how many people have donated, and check how close to the goal they are.
